Buy Cheap New Isuzu
One of Japan’s oldest commercial vehicle manufacturers, Isuzu used to produce motorcars at some time in its existence
but, as far as the UK new vehicle market is concerned, it is now the producer of some of the toughest, least
compromising pickup trucks presently on sale. If the words "Piazza Turbo" and "Handling by Lotus" were introduced
to the conversation, some people may recall an intriguing two-door coupe model that seemed to have a fraught existence
in the UK during the mid-1980s. Other observers may remember the Trooper 4-wheel-drive estate car, in both short and
long wheelbase models, that became the darling of the agricultural set. Many of those models have now registered well
in excess of 150,000 miles on their odometers and, yet, continue to operate, providing unbelievable levels of
reliability and sturdiness way beyond their original intentions. Isuzu has been owned by General Motors since 1999,
the North American giant that also owns Saab, although Isuzu is its remaining Japanese carmaker interest, the company
having sold back its stakes in Subaru and Suzuki to those firms and the majority of its controlling stake of Isuzu
back to the company (from 49% to 12%), which is now 12% owned by Toyota since 2006. The company now concentrates its
efforts on commercial vehicles and its popular Rodeo truck line-up, which sells well in the UK.
