I visited your web site after reading about Broadspeed in the Which? magazine; and here is my experience. My wife and I just returned home from your Renault dealership in our new Laguna. We were impressed with the service and with the car itself. I chose a somewhat complicated specification - for which Renault quoted ten weeks (though it arrived after nine weeks). Suffice to say we now have a correctly specified Laguna - in sparkling new condition - with a saving of £4,839 (allowing £107 for two train tickets). Your web site is easy and clear - even for an old wrinkly like me! Your dealer matched the online price (to the pound) and could not have been more helpful and informative. I could have chosen free delivery - but chose to collect it as I was a little nervous about what I would get. In the event, I needn't have worried - my Laguna is perfect. I have no complaints whatsoever and will be recommending friends and family to Broadpeed from now on.

I initially spent several weeks in futile discussions with my local Jaguar dealer, including turnng up for a pre-arranged test drive and finding no car available, an inability to get any information on pricing initially, then getting a straight "there are no discounts" statement, and finally getting a marginal price reduction, it was clear that they did not seem to want to sell me a car. Real arrogance and indifference frankly.
In contrast, after contacting Broadspeed, in a hectic 24-hour period, my phone was red-hot from around five dealers, three of whom ended up in a very competitive Dutch auction. It got to the point frankly where I was almost embarrassed. I am sure I could have had a slightly better deal still but, frankly, didn't have any more time available to haggle. I have now purchased from the dealer who continued a dialogue with me after hours on a Friday night which demonsrtated his commitment to doing a deal. The initial discounts offered by the three dealers were 7.5% off list price, although for November and October stock purchases I was offered somewhat staggering 9% and 10.5% reductions respectively.
I was offered from one free flights to and from Heathrow for collection. Eventually, the deal I settled for was c.£33,150 for the spec below (I can't remember the exact figure) which included free transporter delivery to my house in north-east Scotland. The ultimate price was £33,999 because I added some extra options - this essentially equates to the list price for the basic car but I have fully £3k of options. Fantastic deal (for a car some dealers say is not discounted) and an exceptionally easy process.
Thanks very much for excellent service - really on a different level from any other internet price comparison service I have encountered.

I have a Lexus IS250 under a PCP which expires in January. Having tried to come to a deal with my local Lexus dealer for the past 4 months, I eventually gave up because they did not ever have the courtesy to ring me back. I have seen your site mentioned several times in Autocar and so decided to give it try. I found the site itself very intuitive and came up with the car that I wanted in a very short time at a very good price (since of course Lexus NEVER give discounts!). The next day I was rung by your company and you actually sounded like you wanted and valued my business, a first for a car dealer in my experience. I was then handed over to Mike who did the running from there. As it turns out, my initial choice did not fit my pricing requirements, but Mike was not perturbed and came back with other options and we eventually came to a deal. He even managed to negotiate a slightly higher part exchange for my old car. He then handed me over to the dealer and the upshot is that my car will probably be delivered at the end of next week. In all the time that I dealt with Broadspeed, Mike was never less than completely professional, and nothing was too much trouble. I only hope that you are still around when this contract expires as I would not hesitate to use you again. I have already recommended you to a friend of mine who is looking to buy a new car and I hope that this will lead to some more business for you. Broadspeed were in touch within 2 days and the dealer was in touch within a couple hours after we confirmed our interest. After that the Toyota dealership were very helpful to allay any worries we had about the trade in of our existing vehicle. Our worry was that the price could change after the dealer was able to see our car but the whole transaction went very smoothly.

I thought I would drop you a line just to let you know about my new car purchasing experience via Broadspeed. I ordered a new Audi A3 2.0 TDi S-Line Quattro with various options and was more than happy with the discount offered via Broadspeed.com - especially after a rather frustrating morning spent at my local Audi dealer (who wasn't knowledgeable about the Audi product and would not offer any discount on the model I wanted).
I was contacted by your Audi dealership who was very efficient and dealt with my order. We did have a hiccup; when the car arrived at the dealership it was a Sportback. I was offered the option of them re-ordering the correct model and a bit of a wait or taking the 5 door for the same cost as the 3. I happily accepted the 5 door at an even better discount! Brilliant - the best new car web site I have used. I placed a Pre-Order online Tuesday at 9.50am. I was called by your dealer on Tuesday afternoon at 2.30pm. I received his email listing the car details and specification (and even two digital images) at 3.15pm on Tuesday. I confirmed the deal and paid using my credit card for the deposit and internet bank account for the balance on Wednesday morning. My Vectra was delivered at 6.30pm on Friday evening - exactly as expected, gleaming and £6,722 less than the new list price. As the driver said: "why does anyone pay list price anymore?" I can only say that you have got the whole thing worked out perfectly - buying through the net saved money, time and hassle - keep up the good work!

I am now back from Denmark having sauntered through northern Europe on my way back to sunny Glasgow.
I don't know if you noticed but the weather in Scandinavia/Germany over the last few days has been magnificent. Hardly a cloud in the sky so the soft top was well and truly down!
I paid a visit to my DVLA office this morning and I should have my new tax disc with private plate registered by Friday.
I can't begin to tell you how pleased I am with my new car and all the arrangements. The pick up at Esbjerg was painless and very friendly. I got all the required papers and apart from nearly shooting back into the plate glass window all went well!
I am not quite at the end of the admin trail but I will certainly be recommending your company and this type of purchase/import to my friends. I was expecting far more aggro although I'm not sure from where! Even my flights and train were bang on time.
My only slight niggle was the lack of any information on build date / expected delivery date to dealer, early on. This would have been nice but now is of no real importance.

I ordered an Opel Zafira through Broadspeed, which when it arrived 6 months after the original order was exactly to the specification I had requested and some £4,000 cheaper when compared with Vauxhall's own Internet price. In writing this I would like to inform other potential customers the following learning's I have had from my experience.
1. Broadspeed are not a charity - they are there to make money and run a tight ship. As a result trying to talk to someone is very difficult, but I know form various Email exchanges that they work long hours and do not see much of home. All my exchanges with Owain and Jerry were always polite - I guess they must be used to worried customers waiting with no feedback. 2. Risk, yes there is a risk - not that you will lose your money or anything like that, but that it could take longer and cost a bit more than you anticipate. I have imported cars before and this is very par for the course - you are asking Broadspeed to save you a lot of money, so don't tie your budget and timescales up until you get the call the car is at the dealers. 3. What you are paying for. You need to take on board that you are paying for Broadspeed to find the lowest possible price. Naturally this is based on a list of dealers that they deal with on a regular basis so you pay for this knowledge. 4. The Dealer. If the dealer was an example of what Broadspeed use, then I was very pleased, we were met at the station, shown the car and even had a set of mats and full tank of petrol thrown in, (but don't bank on it!) and even a bunch of flowers - no kidding.
To sum, up would I use Broadspeed again, well provided I win the lottery next weekend the answer is definitely yes, except if it's for new Opel as I now know the dealer and like Broadspeed I have now paid for that!!!
