BENTLEY CHARITY MISSION
Bentley Motors in Crewe will embark on a gruelling challenge climbing on one of Scotland's highest peaks. The Bentley team scales more than 11,000' within 24 hours, in aid of Prince’s Trust. The Bentley trainees follow a development programme seeking to imbue a personal and professional skill all in preparation for their career within the motor industry. All trainees will be encouraged to contribute something to the local community, which includes a charitable organisation of fund raising activity. Trainees this year take part in the challenge called Million Makers, which is a competition challenging teams of schools, employees, individuals, universities and communities all hoping to help raise £1m for Prince’s Trust. Bentley supported Prince’s Trust for each of the last 3 years, a strong partnership that will leave a positive impact on these young people, all aged 14-30.
The challenge is 24 hours and will see the Bentley trainees climb Scafell Pike, Snowdon and Ben Nevis. Timers begin soon as the initial step is taken and won't stop until the next day when the Bentley graduates reach the base of Snowdon once Scafell Pike are conquered. The Bentley Car team is in active training starting in January this year; the Bentley team has also used their marketing, logistics and management skills to good use - organising this important event and raising much needed funds for charity.
